Emergency Responder Wellbeing Health Check

Our emergency responders are exposed to a far higher number of traumatic incidents than the general public in their lifetime, and although it's their job, they aren't robots, they can't fail to be affected in some shape or form by what they see and experience, and they need to take care of their wellbeing for the sake of themselves, their families, and the wider communities they have committed to serve.

Emergency responder organisations are reasonably well set up to deal with the trauma of dealing with one-off major incidents, but dealing with multiple micro-traumas over a period of time can have just as much of a negative impact on wellbeing and may creep up slowly over time.
To our emergency responders - our sessions are an opportunity for check in, either by yourself, with colleagues, or family and friends. We aren't counsellors, this isn't therapy, but with the help of our equine co-facilitators, we will support you to ask 'are you ok' and delve deep to find the honest answer.
The sessions are available at £25 per person, in line with our ethos of wanting to offer affordable and accessible equine-based experiences for the benefit of our community.

To others - if you are involved in a business that wants to support this programme and bring that cost down for our emergency responder community, get in touch and let's see if we can make it happen.
